agape at Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2008 Milan

You could call it a microcosm, for this experiment models seven ambiences. Seemingly repetitive, in fact it is constantly exploring new opportunities in space. Repetitive, yes, but unpredictable.

The urban scale seldom intersects with the domestic. That, precisely, is what has happened here, creating space for both long-standing and completely new items from the Agape range. ((Making their debut are Pear Cut (Patricia Urquiola), Sen (Gwenael Nicolas, Curiosity) and Cooper & Desk (UT agape). Alongside them is the established Flat XL line (Benedini Associati: Bibi, Camilla, Giampaolo Benedini), inspiring new combinations.

The spaces are simple, the scale small. Intrinsically complex design re-reads and re-interprets products already in the catalogues.((Davide Groppi works design wonders with the lighting, creating atmospheres imbued with suggestions. There is room, too, for choice: a chance to escape the hectic pace of everyday existence and step into the quintessence of space – beyond the confines of ordinary time and place.

Discover the thrill, the pleasure and the absolute worth of a minute, an hour, an infinite moment – lavished just on you.
